Comments:
I had thought this car was a Ford Crown Victoria, until I discovered that they were'nt made until the 80s. I found the answer in a book belonging to a friend of mine called An Encyclopedia of American police cars or something similar. In there I saw a few Pictures of the Dodge St Regis and I knew at once that this was what the Driver cop car was based on.
The car itself is really great. It handles nicely, is nicely modelled and... its a police car isn't it! Its only possible bad point is that, for the most part, you don't get to drive it. Instead this nice car is the property of the police, who seem intent on spoiling your fun. A last minor moan is the siren, which, quite frankly, is a tad dull. You can download a replacement siren sounds from www.driverhq.com .
